Telecommunications policy, while obscure and often dense, has a real impact on American competitiveness, and even the health of our democratic process.
With a new administration in power and an emerging philosophy of serving the public interest (which hopefully will not be subsumed by politics as usual), now is an auspicious time for turning around the megacorporate policy regime that has infected Congress and the Federal Communications Commission.
